Sweet dreams
I guess it’s fitting that this be the last photo I took of Malo… I’m glad I wrote about him so recently. La fourrière just phoned to say that Malo had been hit and killed by a car. I won’t be seeing him again, since I wouldn’t be able to bear it (the man who phoned spontaneously blurted out “oh no don’t… it’s horrible” when I suggested it). Don’t know what else to say…

Oh, I am so so sorry. That’s really terrible and awful. I guess it’s good he had some time on this earth with someone who clearly loved him.

I am so sorry. Malo had an interesting life. He experienced different places to live but ended up back at the place he was most loved.

Oh I’m so sorry! I am hurting right with you. I know what Malo meant to you, and for how long. I enjoyed all your posts about him. I know what it’s like to love a cat more than anyone can imagine…and lose him too. Really, I am feeling for you, and you will be in my thoughts.

oh no! that’s so horrible. my 20 month old daughter loved, loved looking at pics of Malo. any reader of this blog knows how much Malo meant to you and how much you will miss him.

Oh, I’m so sorry! I’m so sad for this… My cat, Clio, is away from me now due to my moving around. So, I enjoyed so much to read your stories about Malo and see all the lovely photos. Malo looks so peaceful in this last one… My thoughts are with you.

Thanks everyone, it means a lot to me. It’s really neat to see all the lives he touched; hopefully there is indeed a kitty heaven where he’s finally understanding it. He was such a sweet cat…
